JOIN THE VALLEY’S FIRST ENVIRONMENTAL FOCUSED GIVING CIRCLE.
We are at a watershed moment.
As a community, we have the opportunity to carry our legacy of stewardship to the next level, ensuring we are not backsliding, but instead, leaning into the future we want to see.
In the Roaring Fork Valley, we have clean air, clean water, wild and diverse landscapes, and ambitious climate policies thanks to the incredible vision and dedication of people who have championed them. Our environmental organizations are now at the leading edge of local and global climate solutions, protecting landscapes, enhancing biodiversity, and developing the next generation of environmental leaders.
Collectively, we’ve developed a rich ecosystem of people and organizations uniquely positioned to lead at this pivotal moment. We have a wealth of experience, resources, and people who care across all ages and fields of work.
Climate scientist Ayana Elizabeth Johnson loves to ask,
"What if we get it right?"
The Watershed Environmental Giving Circle is dedicated to getting it right. We owe it to our kids and our planet.
Our Mission
is to create a multigenerational community in the Roaring Fork Valley that pools money to amplify climate solutions, enhance biodiversity, and develop the next generation of environmental leaders and philanthropists. We support locally based environmental non-profits and collaborative projects.
Our 2025 Goal
is to build a multigenerational community of people who collectively give over $25,000 to fund 3 to 5 inspiring environmental projects.
Our 2025 Gatherings
will set the tone for years to come. Whether you bring experience from the past or a vision for the future, we'd love for you to join us!
